Privacy

This page says what Musicality actually does with data, in plain language. It is kept accurate; if it’s ever wrong, that’s a bug.

The app

This page covers Musicality on iOS and on Android: both apps handle data the same way. Musicality has no accounts, so we do not know who you are. It has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. The app sends anonymous play statistics (which exercises were practiced, how sessions went, which screens were used) to our own server (api.musicality.app), tied to a random device identifier, so the training can be improved. Not your name, not your contacts, not your location. Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.

The microphone

Microphone mode listens so you can sing or play back what you hear. The listening happens on your device. Audio never leaves it.

The recordings

Album tracks stream from our server; standard technical server logs apply.

This website

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

Deleting your data

The statistics are tied to a random identifier, not to a name. Deleting the app deletes the identifier, and nothing on the server points to you. If you want the statistics removed from the server as well, email mail@musicality.app and we will delete them.
